Rachael holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English Language and Literature, with a minor in music, from Brigham Young University. She has worked for financial and technical businesses as an analyst, editor, writer, and general office support. She has also volunteered for a variety of community and non-profit organizations, focusing on fiber arts, gardening, choral music, youth programs, and city planning. She has been involved in several Waldorf-focused community groups, planning festivals and leading children’s programs. She loves the Waldorf focus on a holistic, gentle, and joyful approach to both life and learning, and its priority of making true community an integral part of everyday life. Rachael enjoys hiking, yoga, singing, drama, knitting, piano, reading, gardening, watercolor painting, and artisan chocolate. She is passionate about living harmoniously and respectfully with nature and all people. She lives in South Salt Lake City with her husband, daughter, dachshund, and 2 cats.
