Michelle Woods graduated from California State University, Sacramento with a BA in Liberal Studies in 2003. For the last 8 years she has been volunteering and spending time in the classrooms at Golden Valley River School, which is a Waldorf inspired public charter school that her children attend. She has worked as an assistant in the kindergarten and the lower grades there and in the past year she became a classified substitute for Golden Valley where she has been teaching for the last year. She is passionate and knowledgable about Waldorf education, and demonstrates a well-cultivated intuition for how to work with children. Now that her youngest child is going into 1st grade she is excited to begin her journey as a full-time teacher at Wasatch Charter School. She and her family will be relocating to Utah this summer and we are looking forward to welcoming all of them into our school community.
